My name is Maureen Elizabeth Connors. I was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago and currently live in Chicago. I am a graduate of Visitation High School ('68), Loyola University Chicago ('72), and IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law ('79).

On October 26, 2010, I was honored to be appointed by the Illinois Supreme Court to serve as Justice of the Illinois Appellate Court-First District. Previous to my appointment to the Illinois Appellate Court, I proudly served as a Judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois from 1994-2010. I also served as an Associate Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois from 1988-1994.
